Computerized Bookmaking Systems (CBS) designs, sells and services sports and race book computer systems for the sports betting industry. CBS is the dominant provider of such equipment and software, providing wagering systems for 85% of the sports and race books in Nevada. Under purchase agreements, CBS sells its sports wagering system to the facility and provides training for the system operators and sell/cash terminal clerks.
CBS is currently developing and intends to introduce self-service terminals that allow players to watch live videos of race and sports events and to place wagers on race and sports. |
CBS current products are capable of concurrently operating race and sports books from a single system. The advantages of such terminals include multiple data applications over a single communication line and lower overall costs for each product.
